　　在盛大而甘美的初秋时节，以文艺风尚和青年创业为标杆的虎咖啡迎来了自它诞生以来第一个真正意义上的画展。在咖啡馆举办画展的想法，源自我们内心长久以来的一个愿望：艺术不应该只属于学院殿堂和博物馆，艺术也应该成为公众日常生活的一部分。当阳春白雪的学院艺术放下身段，走进平常巷陌，走进咖啡馆，在咖啡香和茶香中展示自己，并陪伴人们度过寻常日子中的一段时光，那么艺术从某种意义上履行了它自身一个重要使命，即：艺术让生活更美好。

　　今天，我们在虎咖啡为大家呈现的这几十件绘画作品出自国内十四位中青年艺术家之手。他们当中既有美术界功成名就的栋梁人物，也有才气恣肆的后起之秀。这些风格迥异，个性鲜明的中国画与西方画作品置身于同一空间，各美其美，又彼此映照生辉。无论是中国画的空灵妙意和虚实相生，还是西方画的写实主义和新锐创意：每一件作品都在诉说着艺术家对生活的观察和阐释，传达着艺术家对艺术本身的态度和立场。艺术家正是凭借其富有灵性的创作在重构现实，表达自我，并滋养和启发我们，使我们对美更为敏感，并对生活有更深的思考。“艺术让人成为人”。

　　绘画是视觉的叙事诗。当我们安静地欣赏一幅画，并具备足够的耐心，也许就会被邀请到它的语境之中，驻足聆听“画语”缤纷。也许，在这个过程中，我们将会有意外的发现，产生心灵的共鸣，甚至被它击中而心神激荡。同时，一件作品倘若能获得观者的倾心参与，就能延展它的阐释空间，丰富自身意义，从而具有更强的艺术生命力。

　　In this beautiful early fall， Tiger Café， which is popular for good sipping of coffee and cultural activities， will host its first exhibition of paintings from August 28 to September 25/ We cordially invite you to attend this special café & gallery experience。 You can meet artists in person and experience their original work of art。 The idea of art exhibition in a Café comes from our long held dream： Art should not only reside in the ivory towers， art galleries and museums， but also immerse into people‘s daily lives。 When art steps out the sanctuary and into the Cafés， presenting its beauty and charm in the aroma of coffee or tea， it will make everyday life unusual， thus accomplish the most important mission of its own—“Art makes a better life”。

　　Today， we are here at Tiger Café to present dozens of paintings by fourteen Chinese artists。 Some of them are celebrities enjoying the fame and success； others are promising young artists exploring their potentials。 Each of these paintings， either Chinese or Western painting art， with a variety of styles and expressions - abstract and idealistic or concrete and realistic， is reflecting artist’s observation and interpretation of life， telling his or her attitude and faith to art。 Painters are reconstructing the reality， expressing themselves and nurturing us with their creative works。 Thanks to them， we become more sensitive to beauty and life’s deeper meaning--“Art of Being Human”

　　Painting is a visual narrative poem。 When we appreciate a painting quietly and patiently， we would be invited into its world and listen to its story。 In this metaphor， we would make surprising discoveries with our heart echoing with it or struck by it。 To greater extend， the painting， being well appreciated， would expand its space for interpretation， enrich itself and thus have stronger artistic influence—“Art is power。 ”
